To establish a communication channel, please go to Show Properties / Device Manager / Add Device Driver / Peer Engine Connector. Programmers that are linked via an 'Peer Engine Connector' are called peers. The connection is bidirectional. There is no master and slave by default. One peer can * Start cuelists on another peer (Exec Command: \\peer#1\StartCuelist(QL(1)); * Call macros on another peer (Call Macro: \\peer#1\MacroName) * Display auto text fields on the actions pad which are delivered by a peer * Exchange data values (inputs and outputs via script) The e:cue System Manual Advanced (V3. has a chapter about this topic. The main purpose for the peer engine connectors where automation issues like having multiple Media Engines in a network and one or multiple touch screens to control everything. It's not possible to simply increase the DMX channel count of one Media Engine by attaching a second one. I mean actually you have double ressources of course, but you don't get it as ONE fully homogeneous surface. But you can control playback of one Media Engine from a second one or from another e:cue Programmer in the network.

Can both programmers be playing a Video wizard cue to the LED Matrix at the same time, So you would have two video files playing. Is there any plans to make it possible to do this with one programmer in the future. Thanks Larry

Larry Sprang Themenersteller Dabei seit: 31.12.2004 Beiträge: 57	Is there currently any way to "Smooth" the change of files in the media player. When I am using a Video file to the LED matrix and change to another que with a video file the change is very sharp and causes a shot glitch on the led surface. Any ideas on how to make that smoother? Will the new software still have all of the programmer features or just play videos? When do you expect a release? Thanks Larry

Jens Freihoefer Dabei seit: 22.03.2006 Beiträge: 944	Dear Larry, in order to smoothen out cues with the video wizard inside, simply use the fade times to produce smooth fades from one video to cue to a "normal DMX" Cue. As the media player can only handle one video file at a time, there is as far as i know no way to make smooth transitions between two video wizard Cues. Regarding new software ( I am not programming software... ) I would suggest: Its coming when its done All the best, Jens

Kurzanleitung zur Suche

Wildcard Suche
Mit Hilfe eines sogenannten Wildcard [in diesem Fall ein "*"] kann man nach mehreren Suchbegriffen suchen, die den gleichen Wortanfang haben. Zum Beispiel wird gesucht nach "Typo*" dann findet die Suche alles was mit Typo anfängt: Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user ... usw..
Negativ Suche
Wenn man gewisse Ausdrücke in seinem Suchergebnis nicht finden möchte, kann man dieses mit einem Voranstellen eines "-" bewirken. Beiträge, die diesen Begriff enthalten, werden aus dem Suchergebnis ausgeschlossen.
Suchen nach Usern
Mit der neuen Suche ist es auch nun möglich die Suchergebnisse auf Antworten von bestimmten Usern einzugrenzen. Dazu hängt man an die Suchanfrage noch ein "user:username" an und findet die Ergebnisse, die von diesem bestimmten User geschrieben wurden. Sollte es den Usernamen nicht geben, wird dieser Anhang nicht weiter beachtet.
